August 15, 2026. Great news! Book 2, Sabotage: The Enemy Within — A Sci-fi Thriller will be available for purchase! It is currently available for pre-order only. In this book, while still being lighthearted, events push many of the characters to their breaking point. You learn the purpose of the artifact and just how dangerous it really is. 

Oct 2025: The Artifact is available. The first book in the Secrets of the Halcyon Galleria is now available on Amazon. Many thanks to everyone who helped get this launched. Book two is underway, and I have created several versions of the plot points. Next, I will outline the book. Yeah, I am one of those guys who likes to outline the book before starting. It just seems right to me. That may come from many years of working on very complex software systems and needing to diagram the data and control flows and writing pseudocode to use as an outline for the software. I will keep you posted on my progress.  

Criticism is another thing from software development that I learned to use as a self-improvement tool. It took a long time to not feel the anger from it and use criticism as a guide to fix what I am doing wrong. Okay, sometimes I still feel the anger, but I usually catch myself and look at it from the other person's perspective and try to see what they are seeing. Not saying I always agree with them, but one who does not identify their mistakes and shortcomings cannot overcome them.  

The preceding paragraph notwithstanding, if you would like to send me an email and tell me what a wonderful book it is, that would be incredible.
